Arrival at Sarajevo International Airport  airport where you will be welcomed by your guide. Transfer to hotel and check in. In the afternoon, we will explore, by walking, the historical city center of Sarajevo – the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the biggest urban, cultural, economical center of country. During the tour we will experience a combination of Oriental, European and Yugoslav influences, which creates uniqueness and beauty, seen nowhere else but in Sarajevo. This city embraced all different nationalities, but unfortunately faced destruction at the end of 20th century.   Known also as the „European Jerusalem“ , we will see Muslim, Catholic Christian, Orthodox Christian and Jewish architecture, that are just a few minutes away from each . Our guide will also explain about the assassination that triggered the First World War. Learn how Muslims and Jews protected each other through the different wars.
Free time for individual activities . Dinner in a traditional Bosnian restaurant in the heart of the city. After dinner, arrival to the hotel. Overnight in Sarajevo.

After your breakfast in hotel, together to your local guide you will be transferred to the Tunnel of Hope. From July 1993 until the end of the Siege in late February 1996, the Sarajevo War Tunnel was the only connection besieged Sarajevo had with the outside world. It took more than six months to dig the tunnel and was done using pickaxes and shovels. The only source of light the workers had was provided by “war candles”, containers filled with cooking oil and fitted with a wick made from string. On the night of July 30, 1993, the tunnel was finally completed, giving Sarajevo an outlet to the world. The 800-meter-long corridor is a little over a meter wide and has an average height of 1.5 meters. Thanks to the tunnel, the beleaguered city regained access to telephone lines, oil supplies, food and electric
energy. After the war, about 20 meters of the tunnel became part of a museum which contains many items from the time of the Siege of Sarajevo – the longest running siege of any city in modern history. After this half day tour, we will drive back in city center and we will enjoy a nice lunch in a local brewery. Finally, we will take a ride on the Sarajevo Cable Car to see some stunning views of Sarajevo and the nearby mountains and cliffs. Closed in the 1990s when it was destroyed during the Bosnian War, it has 32 gondolas that run from the heart of Sarajevo to the top of the Trebević mountain, which was the venue for the bobsleigh course in the 1984 Winter Olympics. Breakfast early in the morning and departure to Travnik, lying in the heart of Bosnia and Herzegovina, represents the main administrative and political center of Central Bosnia Canton today. Our tour continues to Jajce – represents the capital of Bosnian Kingdom during the 14th century. It has significant importance in historical segment, but is also one of the most visited touristic destination. In Jajce we will visit waterfall where Pliva river flows Vrbas river, visiting the Royal fortress, Pliva lakes, Mlincici complex and katakombe. Later afternoon, we will arrive to Bihać and organize the easy city walking tour, a charming little town centered on the banks of the Una River. The town is teeming with café’s that inevitably gravitate around the beautiful Una. It is more than worth a visit to Bihac or any of the towns that live off these emerald waters.  Overnight in Bihac.

Breakfast in hotel. Departure to UNA National Park , one of the 3 national parks in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  It covers the area of the upper canyon of river Una upstream from Lohovo and lower canyon of river Unac all the way to the small river Krka in the west. Along the valley of river Una, in the most part of National Park Una, you can find cultural monuments, fortresses, towers and towns which present the additional value to the National Park. This area was undoubtedly settled since the ancient times until today. In the late afternoon, we continue our tour till Mostar. Overnight in Mostar.

After breakfast , we’ll discover Mostar, the largest and most important city in the Herzegovina region. We’ll enjoy a walking tour of the city named after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who have guarded the Old Bridge during medieval times. The Old Bridge is one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks and under the protection of UNESCO. In the afternoon the tour continues to Počitelj,  a medieval and Ottoman-Mediterranean wonder of nature and architecture that lies on the banks of the emerald green River Neretva. Return to Mostar and overnight.

Breakfast in hotel and departure to Sarajevo. Our first stop will be Jablanica , famous for the World War II Neretva Batle . Our guide will introduce us in the story of the battle and later on we can admire the beautiful Jablaničko Lake. Our next stop is Tito’s bunker – the biggest secret of former Yugoslavia. Tito`s bunker is located under the mountain Zlatar with the deepest point of 280 meters underground. This atomic shelter could withstand a nuclear attack of 20 – 25 kilotons. The bunker has eight alternative exits that are not shown on the map which lead to the top of the mountain. This huge facility has more than one hundred rooms in a total area of 6400 square meters and these would be used by 350 people from political and state leadership of former Yugoslavia in case of a nuclear attack. In Late afternoon we arrive at Sarajevo, overnight.
